1. Understand the lender
Reid conducts a focused conversation about mandate, underwriting preferences, constraints, and current deployment appetite. The lender reviews the resulting profile before it is used for routing.
2. Structure the opportunity
A placement professional describes the deal by phone or provides supporting material. Ninth Wave creates a reviewable deal profile and holds incomplete submissions rather than presenting them as finished.
3. Evaluate fit
The matching engine excludes hard conflicts, scores mandate alignment, and produces an explanation that identifies both the fit and material stretches. Strong fit is required; the system does not manufacture a full slate when one does not exist.
4. Broker approves outreach
The placement professional selects the lenders who may receive the opportunity. Additional qualified lenders remain available for later waves, but nothing is distributed automatically.
5. Lender opts in
The lender reviews the opportunity and either expresses interest or passes. Only interest creates permission for a direct introduction.
- Broker says yes before the deal is shared
- Lender says yes before contact details are exchanged
- Both decisions are recorded
6. Direct introduction
Ninth Wave introduces the two parties by email. Diligence, negotiation, and the professional relationship remain with them.
